Opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join the State Government in Brisbane's north!

Your new role
Is a diverse role which will be reporting to the deputy registrar and completing tasks delegated to you. These include:
- Monitor the courthouse mailbox and delegate/ process the work as required
- Provide procedural advice to clients
- Ensure correct fees are paid for documents filed
- Management of electronic diaries where required
- Ensure files for surrenders are ready for court
- Collate/ prepare files, update forms, labels, schedules and printing
- Assisting with the input, verification and distribution of orders as required
- Attend to emails, faxes or phone calls
- Order interpreters as directed and update the register
- Action and follow up the weekly and monthly reports
- Transcript management
- Counter relief as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Ability to start 19th February 2024
- Can work out a contract length until 31st May 2024
- Legal Administration experience
