Legal Accounts Clerk / Bookkeeper

The role will be fast paced and varied - we are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Clerk / Bookkeeper to join our team on a casual part time basis for a few days a week. Times and days are flexible. 

Key duties involve but not limited to:

• Data entry
• Accounts receivable such as following up late payments
• Invoicing
• Debt control
• Trust Accounting
• Bank reconciliations
• Ad hoc accounting duties
• General administrative duties as required

Skills and experience

• Proficient in using accounting software, MYOB;
• Previous trust account experience will be highly regarded;
• Proficient computer skills and able to use Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel;
• Experience using Leap (Legal Practice Management Software) is extremely beneficial;
• Solid bookkeeping experience with at least 1-year experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role;
• Strong numerical skills and good attention to detail;
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills;
• Willingness to assist others and work as part of a busy team.

Remuneration will be dependent upon the successful applicant's qualifications and experience.
