The role will be fast paced and varied - we are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Clerk / Bookkeeper to join our team on a casual part time basis for a few days a week. Times and days are flexible.
Key duties involve but not limited to:
- Data entry
- Accounts receivable such as following up late payments
- Invoicing
- Debt control
- Trust Accounting
- Bank reconciliations
- Ad hoc accounting duties
- General administrative duties as required
Skills and experience
- Proficient in using accounting software, MYOB;
- Previous trust account experience will be highly regarded;
- Proficient computer skills and able to use Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel;
- Experience using Leap (Legal Practice Management Software) is extremely beneficial;
- Solid bookkeeping experience with at least 1-year experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role;
- Strong numerical skills and good attention to detail;
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills;
- Willingness to assist others and work as part of a busy team.
Remuneration will be dependent upon the successful applicant's qualifications and experience.
