The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Law Clerk to join our Disputes and Insolvency team in the Brisbane office on a casual basis. The role will offer:
• Access to a wide variety of legal work;
• The chance to develop strong technical knowledge and interpersonal skills;
• The opportunity to work directly with clients to develop skills on real legal challenges;
• On-the-job training and mentoring including both technical and non-technical skills; and
• Direct access to and support from Principals and senior lawyers.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will be in their first or second year of studying a Bachelor of Laws, with an interest to work in the Disputes and Insolvency team.
In addition, they will possess the following:
• A Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5 + (or equivalent)
• An Overall Position (OP) between 1 to 5 or ATAR of 91+ (or equivalent)
• Studying a law degree from an Australian university (as per the Legal Profession Admission Board academic qualifications prerequisite)
