Your new company
Our client is a government agency based in Brisbane that provides a number of products and services to assist in the building and maintenance of government owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to add a Lease Coordinator to assist with the department's extensive property portfolio.
Your new role
You will be responsible for assisting a leasing team to plan and deliver the supply of leased assets within the State Government's property portfolio. You will offer lease management advice using market knowledge and Government policies, assist with budgeting, and help implement accommodation strategies to ensure the best value for money is achieved regarding government property assets.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of leasing projects within a government space. Therefore, you will come from a property management and project management background, specialising in lease management. You will understanding Government property policy and strategies and be able to undertake lease negotiation and lease management with a number of property stakeholders. Given this role includes documentation and the preparation of briefing notes, you will be proficient in Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel.

You will be offered an immediate start in a 3 month contracted/casual role within a government agency. You will be offered a full-time temporary position paying an A04 rate + super.
