Ao4 Project Officer

Randstad is currently recruiting for an AO4 Project Support Officer for a state government department on the Gold Coast. We are looking for someone who can start ASAP in an ongoing assignment with the Queensland State Government. The role will see the successful candidate supporting a team who are responsible for the development and implementation of frameworks within the manufacturing industry here on the Gold Coast. This is an AO4 position, paying $54.34 p/hr plus super. This assignment is currently until the beginning of April 2024, with the possibility of extension. The position has a standard 38 hour working week and is based in Nerang.

Key duties:

• Maintain and update the project plan and oversee the project budgets and resourcing.
• Undertake a wide variety of general and administrative and reporting tasks as required, including but not limited to procurement, steering committee meeting agendas and minute taking, proofreading, testing and inbox management.
• Provide high level administrative support to project teams
• Data entry
• Document control and record keeping
• Maintaining registers, distributing minutes, and providing reports where required
• Compiling reports
• Invoicing administration

Skills/experience required:

• State Government experience is highly desirable
• Prior project support experience is advantageous
• Experience using the system SAP
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills
