About Our Client
Our Client is a State Government organisation within the biosecurity sector in Queensland. This is a dynamic team who strive to provide a high standard of communication that drives great outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description

• Plan and undertake activities supporting community and stakeholder engagement strategies, including coordinating project activities, stakeholder engagement plan through independent completion of own task and oversight of project resources/team. Some engagements may require attendance at activities that are out of normal office hours.
• Build, maintain and improve relationships and networks.
• Build and maintain knowledge of stakeholder interests and social responses to biosecurity concerns.
• Apply engagement techniques to communicate effectively with the target audience using audience analytics to support stakeholder mapping.
• negotiate and communicate with designated stakeholder groups on behalf of the program area/agency within department guidelines.

The Successful Applicant

• You must possess interpersonal skills and experience in engaging with audiences.
• IAP2 Engagement certificate or other relevant certificate/experience is highly desirable.

What's on Offer

• Government contract until the 30th June 2024
• $62.67 p/h + superannuation
