Your new role as Procurement Officer:
- Address internal stakeholder needs for procurement and contracts within deadlines
- Maintain and enhance documentation, procedures, and policies
- Implement efficient procurement processes
- Oversee end-to-end tender and procurement processes, including document preparation
- Manage contracts per the guidelines.
- Provide expert advice on procurement and contracts to internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant procurement policies and frameworks
- Generate accurate procurement and contract management reports
- Cultivate relationships with external vendors and suppliers
- Stay updated on training and best practices in procurement
- Serve as advisor for procurement activities, advising on correct procedures
About you:
- Prior experience in Procurement, preferably within Government in the ICT or Goods and Services sectors
- High level of planning, sourcing, negotiation, tendering, and contract management skills
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking multiple procurement activities from start to finish
