Our client is an independent statutory agency that is responsible for implementing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which will support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability and their families and carers. This role will see you join an organisation that values a positive contemporary attitude to disability.
About the role:
- Providing procurement advice and support to the broader Agency
- Assisting with tracking value for money based outcomes and preparing reports against KPI’s
- Preparing a range of procurement related documentation
- Drafting correspondence and reports
- Entering, extracting and manipulating data to enable accurate Agency reporting
Skills and experience required:
We strongly encourage your application if you have demonstrated the below skills and capabilities;
- Previous Procurement experience, preferably in a Federal, State, or Local Government environment required.
- Demonstrated success working in high volume environments and ability to successfully multitask.
- Certificate IV in Procurement, highly regarded, however, not essential.
- Previous experience using Microsoft Suite or finance business systems.
- Confident in delivering support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR’s)
- Passionate about working within the disability sector and positively improving the lives of individuals and their families
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship
