WHOS Gunyah is looking for a fulltime AOD Community Service Worker to join our men’s program, Gunyah, based at Lilyfield NSW. The role involves:
- assessment, referral, and education,
- supervising and supporting clients in a residential setting,
- delivering a structured daily program (which includes facilitating various process and groups),
- conducting therapeutic interventions
APPLICANTS MUST RESPOND TO THE SELECTION CRITERIA BELOW
- Certificate IV or higher in AOD, Community Services, Mental Health (or similar).
- Ability to work day, evening and weekend shifts as required.
- Experience in facilitating groups.
- Experience in or knowledge of residential treatment services
- Experience working with clients that have AOD and associated conditions.
- Knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation strategies.

Remuneration:
- Remuneration is in accordance with the SCHADSI Award.
- Salary packaging is available.
