Job Description
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Building relationships with potential clients, partners and stakeholders to drive future business growth.
- Generating leads for potential clients or partners.
- Manage the entire product creation process from brief to production. This includes, sketch design, technical sketches and specification packs
- Liaise with factories ensuring quality assurance of all products
- Cost negotiations with factories, ensuring best price is negotiated and delivery is executed
- Maintain flow of communication with clients throughout product life-cycle, acting as the central point for client interaction.
- Marketing and Design Oversight
- Stakeholder management and close communication with manufacturing partners in Asia. This responsibility will require oversees travel.
The successful applicant will have:
- A passion and understanding of the sport and fitness industry
- Minimum of 2-5 years of fashion design experience within the sport/fitness apparel industry
- Thorough understanding of textiles, garment construction and applications as you will be overseeing the design process from concept to production.
- High level of initiative
- Dynamic thinker, who constantly looks for ways to improve process and output
- Proficiency in design software, such as Coral Draw, with the ability to create detailed technical drawings.
- A creative mindset with a keen eye for colour, texture, and visual aesthetics.
- Excellent communication skills with the capability to work autonomously with support from the company directors.
