About the role
This role manages application support, ensuring efficient implementation, maintenance, and optimization. Responsibilities include resolving complex issues, developing processes, supporting projects, and providing user training. It also involves managing vendor relationships, monitoring performance, and assessing technology trends. Additionally, the role leads improvement initiatives and develops disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating application support and system administration;
- Implementing, maintaining, and optimizing applications and systems;
- Resolving complex issues and providing user support;
- Developing processes, documentation, and training programs;
- Managing procurement, vendor relationships, and monitoring performance metrics;
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives and disaster recovery/business continuity plans
- Strong understanding of application support and system administration.
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and IT service management (ITSM) frameworks.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and database management.
