Then come to our "Insanely Customer Centric" Team and become a Certified International Specialist!A candidate for this rolewill provide business application build services to the DHL Australia IT team based in Sydney and work alongside the program delivery team. Thismay involve weekend roster as well.Key Accountabilities¨ Providing Level 1&2 & Emergency incident Support & Request for Standard Change to AU users for local applications.¨ Performing a series of proactive checks on local application performance, data quality checking for Operations, Clearance & Finance Apps, assisting Release To Production (RTP) and ongoing support of all local applications.¨ Problem management, working with the problem coordinators to ensure problems are prioritized and the remediation is done in a timely manner.¨ Security vulnerability management and remediation with the help from the DEV team.¨ Writing efficient, reusable, testable, and scalable application code using Python/Django.¨ Developing - Backend components to enhance performance, server-side logic and platform, highly responsive & secure web applications.¨ Work closely with the application project/architecture team in Sydney.¨ Working in SCRUM projects as part of the DEV team.Skills / Experience / Competencies / Qualification¨ Degree in Computing Science / Information Systems or equivalent.¨ ITIL Certification (preferred).¨ 1-2 years’ experience in a technical/application support role.¨ 1-2 years’ experience in Python with Django frameworks.¨ Experience with MySQL databases or other RDBMS.¨ Good knowledge in building apps with responsive UI (HTML5/Angular/React).¨ Good knowledge of Web frameworks and RESTful APIs.¨ Good knowledge of test-driven development.¨ Good knowledge of CICD practices and DevSecOps/SSDF disciplines.¨ Good knowledge of Source code control systems, GIT preferred.¨ Communication skills – practical and amicable communication with the DEV team, Support team & users.¨ Analytical skills – Good understanding of algorithms and logic that goes behind coding the application.¨ Root cause analysis (RCA) - Thinks through a situation systematically. Critically evaluates both numerical and narrative information.
