The Application Support Administrator provides technical oversight and leadership to the Application Support team who deliver support services for the Mint’s core applications including Content Manager, Epicor, Mainpac, Precise Point of Sale and KE Emu.
They collaborate with stakeholders throughout the Mint to contribute to the delivery of the Mint’s objectives. They identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, and develop and maintain Application Support processes, policies and service offerings.
The Application Support Administrator consults, negotiates and provides technical advice on ICT projects and work packages, ensuring projects align with legislation, industry standards and best practices.
The duties of this position include:1. Managing the delivery of support services for the Mint’s core applications including Content Manager (EDRMS), Epicor (ERP), Mainpac (EAM), Precise Point of Sale (POS) and KE Emu (Collection Management).2. Establishing and implementing a strategy for the Application Support team, including identifying short and long term plans, and managing the strategy beyond implementation.3. Identifying, analysing, approving and implementing new technologies and continuous improvement of the Mint’s core applications. 4. Consulting and negotiating on ICT projects and work packages, providing technical expertise and advice, and ensuring compliance with legislation, industry standards, best practices, and Mint and whole of government procedures, policies and frameworks.5. Managing the Application Support team, including determining priorities and enhancing team capability by providing leadership, guidance and performance feedback.6. Developing, reviewing and approving, and maintaining Application Support processes, policies and service offerings.7. Monitoring customer feedback, service, incidents and problem management, and updating processes and procedures based on analysis.
Security clearanceThis position requires a Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance. The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
