The Position
Responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance and support of the Objective Enterprise Application within the CEA Technology environment.
This role is responsible for:
- Assisting in the strategy, planning and direction of the Objective application, including best practices.
- Assisting in resolving complex issues and troubleshoot application issues.
- Providing any reporting / auditing requirements of the Objective application.
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure requirements of the system are met and maintained.
- Assisting with the implementation and testing of new / upgraded modules and functions.
- Assisting in developing backup recovery procedures including Disaster Recovery planning and implementation.
- Ensuring all relevant security updates are applied to the system.
- Providing end - user training on core Objective solutions.
- Performing systems, performance and capacity management.
- Coordinating functional and use acceptance testing for any platform upgrades / changes.
- Providing up-to-date system and configuration documentation of the Objective application, including any required user guides, procedures and manuals for local configurations / customisations.
- Managing vendor / third party provider relationships including contract and licencing compliance management, including tracking of support requests and support for major upgrades and system changes.
- Complying with the CEA Change Management process.
- Providing training and skills transfer to other members of the Enterprise System Administrator team.
- Coordinating with IT System Administrators to ensure correct functioning of the Objective platform.
- Providing cross support within the enterprise systems support team as directed.
- Other related tasking within available skills and competencies as directed by Supervisor.
- At least 5 years' experience working in a similar role
- Proficiency in supporting applications running on Nutanix Hypervisor (AHV), Windows Server, Active Directory, Windows 10.
- Workload prioritisation skills
- Understanding of change management disciplines.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to cope with organisational change and demonstrate a high level of personal drive and resilience.
To be eligible for this position you must be:
- An Australian Citizen
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance (Baseline/NV1)
