The role
Based out of our Brisbane branch, this position will suit a candidate who has a strong understanding of the local B2B producer markets and 3-5 years of experience in driving technology focused on electronics and application solutions within the automation industry.
Your contribution will be to assist the engineering team and to contribute to improving SEW unit sales as well as to develop SEW EURODRIVE product and engineering knowledge.
In this role you will be working as a part of a supportive and a progressive team within a positive working environment. Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Provides assistance and guidance to Engineers & customers on installations, commissioning, testing, R&D and application of SEW products based on customer specifications
- Provides product, service and engineering information and support across range of SEW products to other departments
- Provides application solutions and drive selections to customer drive applications using the range of SEW components
- Provides assistance to SEW project teams when necessary
- Provides troubleshooting of SEW standard products and application issues
- Developing and maintaining communication and relationships with potential and existing customers
- Indirectly and directly selling SEW products to customers
About you
- Bachelor Degree in a relevant field of engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics) as recognised by Engineers Australia
- Proven understanding of industrial automation components such as variable speed drives, asynchronous and synchronous motors, programmable logic controllers
- Proven ability to communicate effectively to key stakeholders
- Team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn, change and adapt according to the engineering environment
- Highly proficient numeracy skills
- Able to work autonomously
- Able to manage external stakeholders in person and remotely
- Proficient with CRM & SAP as per job requirements
