Job Description:
Are you ready to step into a pivotal role where you'll be the bridge between IT Helpdesk and Applications team? As an Application Support Analyst, you'll be at the frontline of ensuring software applications run smoothly. You'll triage support tickets, tackle some of them head-on, and delegate change requests and critical bugs to the right team members. If you're itching to flex your problem-solving skills and deliver stellar customer service, this role is tailor-made for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dive into support tickets transferred from IT Helpdesk, sorting through them like a pro.
- Roll up your sleeves and tackle some tickets solo, showcasing your problem-solving prowess.
- Play the role of the conductor, orchestrating the allocation of change requests and bugs to our talented team members.
- Work hand-in-hand with your teammates to ensure tickets are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Keep meticulous records of your triumphs and challenges, because we're all about continuous improvement.
- Delight our internal and external stakeholders with your stellar customer service skills.
- Keep your eyes peeled for ways to streamline processes and boost team efficiency.
Requirements:
- You've got the chops with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (bonus points if you've got real-world experience to back it up).
- You've cut your teeth in the IT Helpdesk trenches for a few years, honing your customer service and written communication skills.
- You've got an innate knack for problem-solving and a burning desire to dive deeper into the world of Quality Assurance (QA) or Business Analysis (BA).
- SQL and database management systems don't scare you—they intrigue you.
- Attention to detail isn't just a buzzword for you—it's a way of life.
- You're a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment but can also hold your own when flying solo.
