Our client, a highly respected locally based Butcher, is now offering an opportunity for a hard-working, self-motivated, and most importantly, passionate individual to commence an Apprenticeship.
The Role
The successful candidate will be trained up in all aspects of Meat Processing including:
- Work closely with the team to learn all aspects of a becoming a successful butcher
- Provide exceptional service to our valued customers
- Ensuring that meat recipes are followed properly during preparation
- Cut, trim and shape standard cuts of meat to size
- Assemble and operate mincers, grinders, mixers, patty-forming or sausage forming machines
This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become trade qualified. As an apprentice, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards AMP30815 Certificate III Meat Processing which will see you employed directly by Kestrel by up to 4 years.

Requirements
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Completion of a work placement within electrical or a VET or VCAL program (desirable)
- 100% commitment to undertaking this 4 year apprenticeship
- White card prior to commencement
