THE ROLE
We are seeking 2nd, 3rd & 4th year Carpentry Apprentices to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, working on projects in Eastern Suburbs, Northern Beaches, and North Shore.
As an apprentice you will be taught the fundamentals of carpentry and construction techniques, learning skills that far outside the role of a general carpenter. It’s our aim to make you the best you can be, to become an accomplished carpenter and builder who has the confidence to tackle any building challenge.
In this role you will be working solely on luxury residential houses, with a focus on quality above all else.
This is your opportunity to learn your craft working in a detail-orientated, quality-driven building team with an excellent industry reputation, being supported by a team of very skilled carpenters and foremen.
CORE SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- You must be enrolled in a Cert III Carpentry course at TAFE NSW, either as a first, second or third year student.
- A strong work ethic and a passion for the trade
- A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Excellent attention to detail, quality and finish;
- Physical ability to perform manual labour
- to be well presented
- High degree of English proficiency;
- Works well both in a team and independently, always seeing tasks through to completion;
- to be available while site is open Monday to Saturday (outside of TAFE classes);
- Their own vehicle and active drivers licence
- white card; and
- Australian working rights.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Travel within Sydney to various projects is required
- All uniforms/PPE will be provided.
- Remuneration as per industry awards
- All apprentices will be given an allowance for Sydney Tools in their first year, to invest in the tools they require
