Apprentice Chef / Kitchen hand & Salad hand required.
We are looking for an Apprentice Chef to join our team.
As an integral part of our team, you must be passionate about food, career-driven, and a strong team player. Your contributions will be vital to our kitchen's success.
As an Apprentice chef, you'll embark on a journey of culinary discovery. Our comprehensive training program covers basic culinary skills, knife skills, knowledge of ingredients, use of commercial equipment, and kitchen procedures, offering you a wealth of learning opportunities.
Your primary duties include but not limited to:
- Assisting the chef in the preparation and cooking of meals.
- Training to learn procedures and duties in food preparation.
- Working under the supervision of the chef.
- Operating commercial cooking equipment such as mixers, steamers, fryers, ovens, and stoves.
- Serves food when required.
- Kitchen cleaning, such as dishwashing and, equipment cleaning, and sanitation.
- Assists in other areas of food preparation and storage.
The ideal candidate will:
