Hastings Deering (Australia) LtdWe are currently recruiting for an Apprentice Coordinator to support our apprentices located in South East Queensland. This is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday.
This position will support our apprentices located in South East Queensland. The role will include planning, coordination, mentoring, reporting of training activities and support in creating a learning workplace for our apprentices to achieve success.
The key responsibilities of this role will include, but not be limited to:
- Working closely with on-site management and leaders to ensure that apprentices are exposed to their on-the-job training.
- Oversee governance by ensuring compliance to training, induction, and safety regulatory requirements/legislation
- Ensure Apprenticeship program is managed effectively from intake to completion
- Ensure all administration related to training is completed accurately and efficiently including coordinating and overseeing the planning, facilitating and attending meetings, booking travel and accomodation required for training, Training Awards, etc.
- Work in partnership with leaders and employees to create a supportive learning environment for our apprentices.
- Collaborate with the broader business to ensure that best practice is being followed for our apprentice pathway.
About You
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Certificate III or relevant trade qualification
- Three of more years of experience in a similar role
- Strong administrative and multitaking skills
- Good time management and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work closely with apprentices to motivate, mentor and guide them throughout their apprenticeship
- Excellent communication skills
