Apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanic 2Nd/3Rd Year Emerald

Due to the growth and expansion of our Mechanical & Rentals Company, we are seeking an Apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanic 2nd or 3rd year to join our Service & Preventative Maintenance team. We are seeking tradespeople to maintain, service & repair the vehicles under our care.

You will perform a variety of maintenance & service tasks on a large range of vehicles from the residential, commercial & industrial sectors. You will report directly to the Workshop Supervisor & complete all tasks as required. The role involves a "Hands On" approach for proactive maintenance, emergency breakdowns & service/repairs of all vehicles, specialising in 4WD mining vehicles. The role currently will be 5 Days/Week and is based in Emerald, Queensland.

You will have an interest in maintaining & repairing a wide range of Light Vehicles, preferably with Toyota. This role requires a mix of preventative maintenance & repair skills in both minor servicing to major overhauls on all vehicles. 

• Current QLD Manual Drivers Licence;
• Clean Driving Record

It is expected the successful applicant will possess,

The Hourly rate will be negotiable depending on experience & qualifications of the applicant.
