Qualifications & experience
- 3rd or 4th year apprentice in Fabrication Trade, Certificate III in Engineering (Light Fabrication/Sheetmetal)
- Excellent fabrication and welding skills
- History of similar role within a manufacturing / fabrication environment.
- Excellent communication skills required. Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Tasks & responsibilities
- We are seeking an 3rd or 4th year apprentice Sheet Metal Fabricator - Welder for our manufacturing site in Balcatta
- Welding/fabrication of various items Aluminium,Stainless,Inconel & Mild steel welding - Mig and Tig. Interpret drawings and specifications
- Fitting and assembly of components into final products by welding, bending, riveting, or other joining. Performing quality checks,polishing, filing, cleaning, sanding
