Ace Fabrications is a local, family owned business that has been in operation since 1976. We are the proud manufacturer of welded mesh and steel fabrication, as well as the supplier of builder’s hardware catering for commercial, industrial and residential clients.

Ace Fabrications Pty Ltd is currently seeking a reliable METAL FABRICATOR at our welded mesh fabrication plant.

To be a successful candidate you will have an excellent work ethic and be able to work as part of a team.

Your role will include:

Reporting to the Manufacturing Foreman, this is a varied role involving multiple tasks, some of which may include:

•          Analysing drawings and specifications for manufacturing jobs
•          Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock
•          Cutting, welding & grinding of steel using hand tools, metal cutting & welding machines
•          Bending & Fabricating steel, using hand tools and measuring instruments
•          Machinery operation

Task & Responsibilities

• .       The ability to interpret manufacturing and engineering drawings.
• .       Be able to work well in a team and undertake any task as required.
• .       Experience in manufacturing environments.
• .       A reliable, honest and flexible approach.
• .       Good communication skills.
• .       Other duties as and when required.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Relevant trade qualification preferred.
• Forklift License would be an advantage.
