About the opportunity
Are you a motivated and passionate individual looking to kick-start your career in Maintenance? TFI is currently seeking candidates for our 2024 Apprenticeship Program at our Tamworth operations.
As an apprentice at Thomas Foods International, you can expect hands-on industry-lead training, mentorship by our experienced workforce, enrolment in a Trade course, and the opportunity to earn a nationally recognized qualification in your chosen trade upon successful completion of the program. We welcome candidates of all experience levels, including mature aged individuals and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year apprentices who are eager to grow with a dynamic, global company.
We are currently offering apprenticeships in the following nationally accredited trades:
- Electrical (Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician)
- Mechanical Fitting (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade)
- Or the opportunity to undergo a dual trade, combining both trades.
What we are looking for
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work within a diverse workforce
- Willingness to undergo aptitude testing
- Previous industry experience is not required, but a genuine passion for the trade and a commitment to completing your apprenticeship are essential
