This APS 4 Estate Project Administrator role is a busy and highly rewarding role within the Directorate of Quality, Assurance and Compliance (DQAC). You will provide critical administrative support to the Defence Infrastructure Panel as part of routine annual panel activities. The role supports the Director led management of the compliance and quality framework that is the core role of the Directorate.
The role requires a person with strong organisational skills, a drive for improvement and quality and a demonstrated ability to drive and manage the administrative framework for a dynamic area. You will assist in the management of two large whole of Government Panels, quality assurance activities and be expected to drive the administrative framework for the Directorate. This role will suit those who are highly motivated, adaptable, and resilient in their approach to contributing and developing outcomes and those with an understanding of and a passion in applying quality principles.
About our Team
Capital Facilities and Infrastructure Branch are seeking a highly motivated, proactive self-starter who wants to learn and grow in the organisation. The Branch manages a growing $21billion portfolio of major infrastructure and facility projects for the Department of Defence across mainland Australia and on remote Islands. This area develops and delivers major capital facilities and infrastructure projects to support the sustainment of the Defence estate, as well as fundamental input to capability of new Defence assets.
Within this Branch is the Directorate of Quality, Assurance and Compliance (DQAC) who manage the procurement, contractual and compliance processes, procedures and tools that support the delivery of projects. Additionally, the Directorate manages and maintains two significant whole of Government services panels and the integrity of the Defence Suite of Facilities contracts. The successful candidate will join this dynamic team and be part of the exciting work delivered to support the delivery of the roles.
