AFMA is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the role of Payroll Officer, Corporate Services, located in Majura Park office in Canberra.
Assisting the Senior Payroll Officer, this position provides system administration and support of AFMA’s payroll function, including fortnightly pay-runs, monthly and year-end reconciliations, management, and regulatory reporting, and supporting the maintenance, system administration and upgrades of AFMA’s payroll system, iCHRIS, and employee self-service system, HR21 Kiosk.
The BPS section is a small, dynamic, and innovative team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Operations team to build transferable skills and to provide support when required.

Eligibility
AFMA staff are employed under the Australian Public Service Act 1999. All applicants must be Australian citizens.
The preferred applicant will be required to hold or be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.
Experience with iCHRIS HRMIS payroll system will be highly regarded.
