We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Administration Officer to undertake a Planning Officer role within the Plans Cell of the Defence Aviation Safety Authority Headquarters (DASA HQ). This position supports and reports to the Deputy Director Plans. The Plans Cell supports the DASA Executive to plan, monitor and control DASA business activities and tasks.Specific duties of the position include coordination and Support to:
- DASA strategy and Business Planning activities
- DASA enterprise risk management framework
- DASA performance monitoring and reporting framework
- Project management of business improvement activities
The Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) is responsible to enhance and promote the safety of military aviation through the implementation of a Defence Aviation Safety Program that promotes a generative safety culture and independently assures the effective management of Defence aviation safety risks.DASA is a complex organisation consisting of Headquarters (HQ) elements and five Directorates providing aviation safety assurance and specialist engineering services to the Defence aviation community.The organisation has a strength of around 300 personnel, made up of Australian Defence Force members and Australian Public Servants, and is physically located in Melbourne VIC, Canberra ACT, and Amberley QLD.Our Ideal Candidate
