Planned Resources are seeking an experienced business administration/customer service person for a Business Support Officercontract. As part of the child health sector, you will play a crucial role in the administrative and operational aspects to provide support and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to program managers, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining documentation.
- Collaborate with external partners, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless program execution.
- Conduct research and analysis to support evidence-based decision-making for program enhancements.
- Monitor program progress, identify challenges, and propose solutions to ensure program goals are met.
- Assist in the preparation of grant applications and funding proposals to sustain and expand program initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to program activities, participants, and outcomes.
- Contribute to the preparation of program-related materials, including presentations and training resources.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in maternal and child health to bring innovative ideas to the team.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Business or Office Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in providing administrative and Business Support, preferably in a local government setting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and confidential records.
