The Engineering Management Systems (EMS) Compliance Officer, under the direction of the Deputy Director JSD E&T Compliance and Assurance, will be an integral member of a small audit and assurance team and be responsible for coordinating and performing engineering assurance, governance, auditing and corporate reporting activities.
The EMS Compliance Officer will have an understanding of the Technical Regulatory Frameworks (TRF’s), and standards of practice; and have an in-depth knowledge of the internal audit process. You will contribute to the strategic review of Engineering Management Systems in Joint Systems Domain (JSD) in the areas of strategic and business planning, performance measurement and continuous improvement.
You will work independently with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability to achieve outcomes. You will have demonstrable experience in building and sustaining effective relationships with team members, management and stakeholders, tailoring communication style and language according to the audience.
About our Team
The JSD E&T Domain Functional Lead is responsible and accountable for the Engineering & Technical Function support to Joint Domain E&T stakeholders by providing a central POC representing the interests of Joint Domain’s engineering community. The Directorate delivers outcomes based on three main teams, in addition to managing the self-assessment program and providing CASG functional support for Joint Domain:
- E&T Compliance and Assurance
- E&T Reform & Professionalisation
- E&T Enterprise Resource Platform (ERP)
