The Role
The APS 6Logistics Governance Team Leader is accountable and is responsible for the management of corporate governance and logistics assurance activities, quality management systems and resource planning.
You will be required to have a well-developed understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, government decision making and policy requirements.
The APS 6Logistics Governance Team Leader will be required to perform and achieve complex logistic compliance and assurance activities in an integrated workforce and will have considerable level of stakeholder engagement, therefore excellent communication skills are essential.
They will be the primary interface with unit Command on all systems and governance requirements. The APS 6Logistics Governance Team Leader is responsible to lead and manage a Governance team to undertake audit testing of corporate governance requirements including support to audit programs and remediation activities.

The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working in a similar role ensuring the alignment of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks;
- Experience in enterprise resource planning and core business processes in an integrated system;
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines;
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, especially in preparing responses to correspondence, briefs and reports for management;
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain effective relationships with team members and key stakeholders to achieve desired results;
- A strong commitment to the provision of innovative and workable solutions in the promotion of logistics best practice;
- You will have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a bigger team.
