The Library is seeking to fill the ongoing role of APS Level 6 Program Manager, Diversity and Injury Management in the Human Resources Section of the Corporate Branch.
This is a newly created position to support the Assistant Director, Health and Wellbeing. You will take the lead on implementing wellbeing and diversity activities in the National Library. You will support the National Library’s early intervention and rehabilitation programs to support sick and injured employees. You will also implement and monitor the Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2024-2026 and other HR strategies.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a person with great people skills who will undertake the responsibilities as the Disability Contact Officer, supporting workplace adjustments for National Library employees. You will be a proactive, curious person who is looking to build their career in a supportive small, cultural agency.
To see you succeed you will have experience in researching, drafting and implementing human resource strategies. You will also have experience with supporting early intervention, rehabilitation and return to work activities in the public sector environment.
We are looking for someone who exercises sound judgement, has good interpersonal skills and the ability to flexibly deal with competing priorities. Experience in human resources management is also desirable.
