The Company

We have partnered with a global luxury brand and our client has an incredible opportunity for a talented Department Manager to join their prestigious Boutique in Melbourne's Collins Street. 

The Role
You will be responsible for leading, inspiring, and developing a team of Client Advisors, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, whilst driving sales, exceeding targets and utilizing your strong business acumen and the industry knowledge, alongside your Boutique and Assistant Boutique Manager. You will also ensure the store maintains its pristine appearance through effective visual merchandising and inventory management. Moreover, you will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalised service to enhance their shopping experience. As a Team Manager, you will also analyze sales figures and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and develop effective strategies to maximize profitability.
 
Skills & Experience
To be considered for this Department Manager role, you must have previous experience in the similar role within the retail industry, ideally from an international luxury or premium brand. You should have a proven track record of achieving  or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth and proven strong operational performance within retail environment. This role requires excellent leadership abilities with a focus on developing and motivating teams, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders. You should have an eye for detail, passion for the industry and having experience across luxury handbags, footwear and accessories is an advantage.
