The Role
The Maritime Integrated Warfare Systems (MIWS) Branch is a very busy organisation that is never dull and no two days are the same. The Branch Controls and Support Office (BCSO) provides scheduling advice and support to Project Managers, their teams and all stakeholders who supplement and support project, program and product delivery.
As a BCSO Scheduler, you will:
- Build and sustain effective relationships with team members including the provision of coaching and mentoring and actively participate in team and group activities;
- Maintain Branch Schedule Policy documentation to ensure it stays aligned with MCSSC/NSSG policies;
- Mentoring of incoming / new schedulers;
- Provide Surge Support to Project / Product teams;
- Assist delivery of planning awareness and training programs to the wider project teams to ensure awareness and compliance to requirements for Project Controls and;
- Interface with external and internal parties and participate in internal planning sessions with all disciplines to create robust schedules.
