This is a Non-ongoing role for 12 months, located at our client's office in Canberra with flexible working arrangements.
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Deliver high-quality graphic design products for print and digital outputs.
- Possess expert knowledge of Government brand guidelines and principles as well as an extensive understanding of Government accessibility requirements.
- Maintain successful relationships with internal stakeholders and liaise with external suppliers to ensure successful outcomes.
- Mentor junior staff and stay abreast of trends and developments in graphic design.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
- Assist the Design Studio Lead with special projects as required.
- A minimum of five years professional experience in graphic design.
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- Relevant experience in the delivery of communication or creative services.
- A proven track record and experience in a similar role.
- Experience in managing a range of complex design projects within budget and tight deadlines.
- Understanding of printing and production techniques.
- Demonstrated understanding of brand principles and ability to create visual identities.
- Effective oral and written communication, presentation, and liaison skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration and client management.
- Leadership experience in mentoring junior designers.
