Your new company 

This high profile Authority is a joint venture between multiple international Governments to develop and deliver a key capability for Australia. This Uplift Branch is responsible for preparing Australian industry to support the delivery of this program. The Branch has five directorates: Supply Chain, Industrial Workforce, Skills and Training Academy, Industry Engagement and Industrial Safety, Security and Safeguards.

Your new role 

Are you a creative and experienced Graphic Designer looking for an exciting opportunity to work on a national strategic project? Do you have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality and engaging design solutions for a range of digital and non-digital platforms? If so, we want to hear from you!

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be accountable under broad direction to provide Graphic Design expertise to support the Industrial Uplift Branch directorates. You will lead the design and creative elements necessary to support the strategic objectives and outcomes of the Branch. You will develop branded products, supporting digital and non-digital engagement and communications. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders across wider, state and territory government agencies and industry.

What you'll need to succeed 

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrated design skills and understanding of design principles. With the ability to understand project design needs and develop appropriate creative design solutions.
• Understanding of a diverse range of print and digital related requirements, the production of detailed requests for quotes, product specifications, and creation of high quality, accurate artwork.
• Demonstrated experience in user experience design or user centred design practices would be beneficial, but not mandatory.
• Expertise, knowledge and experience in Graphic Design software, primarily Adobe Creative Cloud as well as Microsoft office products. Experience in front end web design and digital.
• A proven understanding of Government accessibility requirements and the ability to apply these to your work.
• Demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to manage workflow and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

You will also have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry and/or domain work experience.
• A recognised professional qualification.
• Current and relevant Graphic Design experience.
