This department requires an Australian Citizen, with strong administration and Customer Service experience to undertake this 12 month contract as Participant Support Officer, based in their Katoomba office.
Your new role
The position may have a public contact role and may be required to communicate with and provide straightforward advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Providing reception support for the local office including managing customer enquiries online
- Managing the team shared email inbox, appointments and telephone enquiries
- Coordinating appointments managing office facilities
- Research and preparation of reports and correspondence
- Undertaking a range of data entry activities
- Customer complaints management
- General administration support to senior staff
What you'll need to succeed
- To be successful in this role you will need to be a dynamic person that enjoys managing a variety of tasks
- You will have excellent Customer Service skills with a warm and professional manner
- Previous administration skills required
- A background or understanding of the health or disability sector is beneficial
- Australian Citizenship is a requirement of this role being within a Federal Department
