Your new role
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a front line, customer-centric initiative aiming to deliver better outcomes and additional support for plan Budget Management. We are looking for motivated individuals who are driven to provide excellent service and positive solutions for program participants.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Analysing participant records using a range of policies, practice guidance to make funding decisions in relation to participant plans to help reduce overspending
- Working with participants and their representatives via telephone communication, to identify current circumstances and spending patterns
- High quality record keeping, including competency with IT systems.
- Research and review decisions and manage moderately complex cases
- Contributing to the achievement of key performance indicators, including planning targets
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an administration or customer service role is essential.
- Experience working in the Disability Sector, such as in Participant Support or Case Management, would be highly desirable.
- Driven to provide excellent service, and an ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed time management, analytical, and decision-making ability.
- High level of computer literacy, including competency using Microsoft Office suite and confidence to work in a hybrid/virtual environment.
- High level attention to detail and accuracy.
