The APS4 Payments Officer position is responsible for investigating and resolving outstanding payment requests that have been rejected through various channels.
Please note that this position is due to start in April 2024 in line with a national training program.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Duties:
- Investigate and resolve outstanding payments requests
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve inquiries
- Process manual payments
- Apply legislation, internal policies and standards when resolving issues
- Meet team and individual KPI targets
- Accurately record information in database
- Provide operational and administrative support as needed
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role - payments processing, claims processing
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Government experience is highly regarded
- Australian Citizen
- Work for an community-oriented organisation
- Start or develop your career in the public sector
