Talent International is currently recruiting for an APS4 Verification Support Officer x 6 to work for one of our Federal Government clients based in Penrith. The position is 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension.The role is paying $43.82/hour + Super.
7.6 hours per day and 38 hours per week
About the role:
The Verification Support Officer (Labour Hire) is a team membership position and requires an individual who is naturally results oriented and who enjoys undertaking in depth analysis. The role will be required to apply well-established policy, principles, practices and procedures to achieve outcomes that supports and contributes to client’s objectives.
The position will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to undertake information gathering and analysis.
An active Baseline security clearance or ability to obtain one is required for the role.
Duties:
- Conduct outbound call campaigns to participants, their representatives, and providers to enquire about and verify information.
- Identify patterns, trends or insights to analyse issues from different perspectives and draw sound conclusions from available data and information.
- Conduct analysis and assessment of information gathered in collaboration with compliance activities and unpacking activities that pose fraudulent concerns.
- Undertake appropriate case management research, using that research to inform whether non-compliance or fraud exists.
- Manage secure and sensitive data.
- Identify areas for process improvement opportunities, contributing to team activities and providing feedback.
Skills and Experience of the role include but not limited to:

- A strong commitment to integrity and accountability.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory legislation.
- Use organisational and time management skills, including the ability to cope with high volumes of work, meeting critical deadlines while handling sensitive issues using appropriate judgement.
- Demonstrated experience of working with people in the health and disability sector would be advantageous.
Entry Level checks will be required for all successful candidates and dependent on the role the appropriate working with children and/or vulnerable people checks may need to be undertaken as per State Legislation.
