Form of work Randstad is currently taking applications for an APS5 Collection Management Officer. If you are seeking professional development within a great working environment, we want to hear from you. Full Time - Labour Hire - 3 Months Duties of the role include:
Assist with the coordination of and quality assurance processes.
Retrieve collection material.
House or re-house collection material in standard housing.
Label collection material and collection containers with control number(s).
Upgrading Word documents to single template.
Standardising terminology and formatting throughout the resource suite.
Consolidating resources to remove duplication of content.
Tracking progress using spreadsheets.
Position Requirements / Qualifications
Functional knowledge of and experience working with archival heritage materials.
Demonstrated experience using the Microsoft Office suite of applications, in particular Excel.
Understanding of the requirements for safe handling and control of valuable collection material, as well as the ability to undertake the physical requirements of the role.
Familiarity with library or equivalent Collection Management systems.
