The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced energy and sustainability professional to join our Perth office, to support our fast-growing national sustainability discipline. The role will include:
Delivering some of Western Australia’s most sustainable building projects.
Providing practical energy efficiency, decarbonisation and climate resilience advice for existing precincts, buildings and portfolios.
Working directly with our WA clients to build long-term, productive relationships.
Providing a unique skill set and capability to the national energy and sustainability offering at Lucid, and in turn being supported by the national energy and sustainability team.

About You
To be successful in this role, it is expected that you will:
- Be passionate about delivering real, sustainable outcomes for our clients.
- Have highly developed written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders (external & internal).
- Be outcomes focused, with experience delivering work that provides enduring value for clients.
- Have a working knowledge of the design and construction industry in the WA market.
- Have 3-7 years of relevant experience.
- Have an Australian-recognized degree qualification in a relevant field, such as engineering, architecture, or a technical sustainability degree.
- Have Australian Citizenship or permanent working rights in Australia (preferred).
- We are looking for someone with experience in one or more of the focus areas of our strategy. These are:
- Energy Services
- Built Environment
- Decarbonisation and Climate Resilience
- Some of the experience we value includes:
- Providing passive design and energy efficiency advice in both new and existing buildings.
- Undertaking energy audits and assisting clients with implementation of initiatives.
- Providing advice in decarbonisation, particularly in engineering applications.
- Facilitating climate resilience assessments for existing assets, liaising directly with asset owners.
- Working with rating tools such as Green Star, NABERS, Living Building Challenge, WELL, Passive House and similar.
- Energy, daylight, water and LCA modelling for buildings and precincts.
- Delivering circular economy frameworks for clients.
