Randstad is currently taking applications for an APS5 Collection Management Officer. If you are seeking professional development within a great working environment, we want to hear from you.Full Time - Labour Hire - 3 MonthsDuties of the role include:

• Assist with the coordination of and quality assurance processes.
• Retrieve collection material.
• House or re-house collection material in standard housing.
• Label collection material and collection containers with control number(s).
• Upgrading Word documents to single template.
• Standardising terminology and formatting throughout the resource suite.
• Consolidating resources to remove duplication of content.
• Tracking progress using spreadsheets.

Position Requirements / Qualifications

• Functional knowledge of and experience working with archival heritage materials.
• Demonstrated experience using the Microsoft Office suite of applications, in particular Excel.
• Understanding of the requirements for safe handling and control of valuable collection material, as well as the ability to undertake the physical requirements of the role.
• Familiarity with library or equivalent Collection Management systems.
