OVERVIEW
Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Project Officer to join their team at the APS5 level. Within this role you will be responsible for the interpretation of policy in the application of practices and procedures.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review applications lodged by UK and Indonesian citizens to participate in the Innovation and Early Careers Skills Exchange Pilot (IECSEP) and the Skills Development Exchange Pilot (SDE Pilot), consistent with pilot governance frameworks and guidelines.
- Critically assess merit-based criteria for IECSEP.
- Undertake probity checks as required for IECSEP and the SDE Pilot.
- Update and maintain program documentation and systems as required.
- Liaise with applicants and businesses in Australia, the UK and Indonesia.
- Liaise with counterparts in other Commonwealth agencies, and in the UK and Indonesian governments.
- Support the Manager, FTAMIU, in an active advocacy and stakeholder engagement program.
- Undertake research and analysis, and contribute to planning/implementation of policies and objectives.
- Proven client service skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a consistent workload, set priorities and achieve effective and timely outcomes against deadlines.
- Demonstrated highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
