Is a large Federal Government organisation in Brisbane CBD & Chermside.
The Co-Design and Engagement Branch supports all Agency policies, processes and initiatives that require a co-design approach and/or engagement with people within the sector & a variety of stakeholders. The Branch provides advice and operational support when engaging with stakeholders and the community. It is responsible for managing co-design activities and events and all community engagement functions.The Co-design Delivery team works collaboratively across the Agency, and various stakeholders to ensure they capture perspectives on issues facing the program are heard and represented. Your new role
You will be an Engagement and Communications co-design officer working with a large Fed Gov organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:- Coordinating co-design working groups, workshops and other events.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to prepare co-design materials.
- Maintaining relationships with relevant key stakeholders to support effective engagement.
- Working as part of a high-performing team to effectively engage with people within the community
- Representing the organisations at external forums and events, providing information and guidance to stakeholders and the wider community.
- Proactively delivering engagement activities and projects against the organisation's Engagement Framework by applying your co-design and engagement experience.
- Delivering clear, concise and effective messaging to people within the program as well as other community stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated previous experience in Community Engagement positions
- Demonstrated previous experience working within a co-design framework
- Experience within health or disability sectors would be advantageous, though not essential.
- Experience within the public sector would be advantageous, though not essential.
- Applicants for this role MUST be Australian citizens and have the ability to obtain a Baseline level security clearance
