About the Role
We have a range of policy roles and are seeking applicants with experience in international and strategic policy. With a core focus on environmental protection.
You will be contributing to the development and implementation of policy. You will have the ability to research, interpret and assist with the drafting of documents, policy advice and briefings. You will actively build and maintain effective networks of internal and external stakeholders to support informed policy-making.
In this role you will:
undertake research and analysis as directed to inform and support policy development.
assist with the delivery of programs, projects and other activities including financial management and administration activities.
prepare ministerial correspondence, briefs and other written and verbal advice for managers.
Our ideal candidate will have:
well-developed analytical and critical thinking skills
Technical writing skills
an ability to communicate concise, accurate, impactful, and high-quality advice
sound judgement, including demonstrated experience effectively contributing to mitigating risk.
strong levels of integrity and discretion
Candidates with a Baseline clearance will be highly regarded.
