This APS6 contract will involve overseeing grants programs focused on cancer research, supporting clinical trial groups and implementing initiatives to streamline and modernise existing programs.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee grants programs
- Facilitate the reform of established grants programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Oversee a well-regarded grant program targeting community groups supporting individuals with cancer
- Shape and reform a long-standing priority-driven cancer research fund, collaborating with academics and research bodies
- Conduct procurement and grant delivery and administration including oversight of the electronic grants management system
Key requirements:
- Proven experience in grants administration
- Demonstrated ability to lead reform initiatives and modernise programs
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in approach to work
- Excellent writing skills for various audiences
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work within a team to meet deadlines and ensure work is delivered against objectives
