Form of workCapital Recruit are currently working with this government agency to recruit an APS6 Project Officer for an initial 3 month Non-ongoing contract. This is a fast paced environment that requires an individual with high-level administrative, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills; who operates at their best in a dynamic and quickly changing environment; contributes to team capability and culture; has strong attention to detail; and can manage multiple activities and competing priorities.
Duties
- Assist the Director in redefining the objectives of the board.
- Coordinate submission, review, analysis and development of reports to inform the board on the health of portfolio programs and projects.
- Assist in secretariat and administrative functions to support the board, team and division.
- Support project and program planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
- Provide advice to support project management capability development within the division
- Support divisional business planning, performance reviews and risk management process.
- Analyse, interpret and efficiently coordinate requests for information from across the division.
- Contribute to document control, continuous improvement and maintenance of team sites.
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in a Project Officer role within the APS
- Experience building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Clear and strong communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
- Minimum baseline security clearance is required
