Salary Range: $93,976-$106,713 + Attractive Superannuation

This role is responsible for resolving complex issues, managing a team of contract managers located in various locations and providing input on broader strategic issues impacting private hospital contracting and procurement.
The position requires strong team leadership skills to assist contract managers (APS5's and APS4's) to be accountable and responsible for the achievement of high quality contract management and procurement outcomes identified a result of the project work done in this role.
The occupant is responsible for training contract managers in skills required for hospital contracting, including monitoring and identifying where contractual key performance indicators (KPIs) are not met, core concepts and assisting with improved provider relationship management. Procurement activities within the public contract model for hospitals and Day Procedure Centres (DPCs) is also required.

A merit pool will be established that may be used to fill similar positions (ongoing/non-ongoing) within the next 18 months.
Successful applicants engaged into the APS will be subject to a probation period.
