Form of workOur client is a Federal Government department, and they are looking for 2 Procurement Specialists to join them on a project basis until end of June 2024 with the potential for extension. A great opportunity to get involved in a key IT/finance system upgrade!
About the role:
- Working with various project managers across the organisation to review procurement documentation
- Developing approaches to market and requests for quotes (including Austender)
- Assisting with the implementation of a new Finance/IT system
- Providing advice to managers to ensure they follow compliant procurement processes
- Monitor procurement and contractual agreements
- Data extraction and analysis
- You will have previous procurement experience
- You will ideally have experience working in government procurement and have knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement processes and policies
- You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, and able to communicate at all levels
- You will have a strong eye for detail, and intermediate to advanced IT skills
- ASAP start pending Federal Police Clearance
- Temporary assignment until 30th June 2024 with the potential for extension
- Full time hours Monday to Friday
- Perth location
- $60 - $65 per hour + super
