In the Marketing Communications Branch, the Communications Officer will provide strategic advice and support to stakeholders for internal and external communications and engagement activities.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Advocating for plain English and ensuring all collateral aligns with agency style and branding guidelines.
- Serving as a trusted communications expert, assisting key internal stakeholders and business partners in achieving project objectives.
- Crafting clear, concise messaging for various audiences, including talking points and speeches.
- Contributing to communications plans, securing approvals, and coordinating collateral releases.
- Evaluating communication impact, identifying learnings, and assessing project objectives achievement.
- Assisting team members with administrative, technical, and procedural tasks.
- Previous Communications role experience.
- Proficiency in plain English copywriting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Expertise in stakeholder management.
- Experience in disability sector or understanding of disability concepts highly desirable.
